So many earmark requests the computer crashes

An entertaining column on Politico.com is Shenanigans. Anne Schroeder Mullins posted on Thursday, an article titled "There are so many earmarks in the House that...."

Reports Mullins,

"We hear that the earmark computer in the Appropriations Committee - the earmark database member request system, to be exact -- broke down today. Again. This after it was revamped after last year's overwhelming earmarking. "

It also looks like the deadline for earmark requests will be extended into Saturday as a result.

It appears that the drunken government orgy with spending our grand children's future is continuing unabated.
